Bari appreciates the different culture we have in Malaysia and is eager to know more about it.

Malaysia is also having Islamic culture so it is not much different compared to in Pakistan. For instance, for the festival, there is also Eid ul Fitr which is fasting just like in Malaysia. Nevertheless, going to a foreign country enables Bari to become more responsible and more discipline. He has high hopes for his future and cares about his family. So it is ought for him to take up this responsibility and challenge.

He is not afraid to approach constantly with the others although there is a language barrier. Although most Malaysians can speak fluent English, both of our accents are quite different. So, sometimes it might be a little bit hard to understand each other. However , it does not stop Bari to adapt to this brand new environment easily. He further explained it by writing down the words to me when I did not understand the words he was conveying. He also loves the food, the surroundings and the people here.

One of the things that he found it amusing in Malaysia is we have "boyfriend-girlfriend culture" which is not common at all in Pakistan because their marriages are all determined by their parents. Mutual respect that is mentioned earlier is more towards among the peers. They respect their parents' decisions and opinions.

His open-mindedness contributes a lot towards his adaptability.
